It wasn't Ryan who got the dress made. She talked about it in interviews before they got together.
I didn’t make the assumption tbh, I just posted the quote from the article. It could be anyone but I think the media LOVE McGosling so they have a tendency to associate them whenever they can… Oh, well.
there are some new quotes from Ryan you can post :)
Maybe you could link me to those? The only recent quotes I saw were from the Hollywood Reporter in which he just says that Bradley Cooper deserved to be the sexiest man alive and that he doesn’t feel that he got snubbed by the Oscars.
Although McAdams doesn’t reveal which of her former boyfriends has gone the extra mile, she says: “Someone once went behind my back, got all of my measurements, and had a dress made for me.” (Although unconfirmed, all signs point to Gosling, who has a passion for designing clothes).
And did this gesture win her over? “It certainly did,” she smiles. “I had seen the dress in a window one night when we were walking. I stopped and I was just gazing at it and he did that for me. That was lovely.”
“We joked that she has the curse to make any line work. She has this uncanny ability to make anything sound real and amazing. She really commits and believes in it. I’m in awe by her. She’s a shining little thing.”—Channing Tatum on Rachel McAdams [x]
Interviewer:Have you heard from Ryan Gosling since you told Rolling Stone that he came up to you at a Jamba Juice but you shut him down because you didn't recognize him?
Aubrey Plaza:I actually did hear from him one time. He invited me to a magic show through someone else, and I couldn’t go because I had to go to this charity thing for Amy, and it was like, "bros before hos," or "hos before bros," however that phrase goes. I just rhymed a lot. So, yeah. I don’t know what’s in store for me and him. I think he has a girlfriend, but maybe I’ll murder her someday and we’ll be together forever.
