Ryan: Emma Stone, who I’ve worked with before and… we did a comedy together. So we get a little goofy around each other so it was hard for us to be dramatic and be serious. But by hook or by crook I think we kept a lid on it.
Emma: Well, I’m the luckiest girl in the world because Wooters is being played by Ryan. So, that is a huge asset, because he’s so fantastic at that kind of banter, and we get along really well, and so it’s been nice to kind of have that teammate, that partner. And I’ve been lucky enough to work with him before so that was really beneficial. And I love, I mean I love the Grace and Wooters scenes. That was such a huge draw to being a part of the movie for me, because I just think that it’s so nice to see two people come alive together, where they feel so misplaced and like they’ve fallen into this… He doesn’t want to be this kind of cop, she doesn’t want to be this kind of kept woman, but she tells herself it’s alright, he tells himself it’s alright, and they kind of… it’s two lonely people that find something in each other.
