I’ve just got back from Bangkok where I spent seven weeks shooting with Ryan Gosling. Most women scream and fall to the floor when I say that,” she laughed.
“No, no, no [not the love interest] the mother. That’s usually my role nowadays. It was still great fun. He’s divine, he’s really, really sweet… lovely. He was my son!”
Kristin added she has “noticed” that women become tongue-tied and flushed when they are around Ryan.

I know it’s awkward to sit here next to each other and fond over each other but I think Rachel is one of the most lovely actresses that I’ve ever had the chance to work with or see on films. I’ve learned a lot from her, she’s insanely talented. [x]

Here’s the deal with me. I’ve kissed a lot of men on films. Now I really feel I deserve an award. I really feel I’ve kissed more men than anyone. Here’s my problem, there’s a few I haven’t kissed. Here’s the one I want. He’s a little younger than I, just a tad, not much. Ryan Gosling. He’s a great actor, he’s great. Oh, yeah.

Drive. That movie was just awesome. I love Ryan Gosling in it, the story was so great, the cinematography, the music, everything about that movie. I could watch it over and over again.

Any time an actor internalizes emotions, that’s the sort of thing that I’m attracted by. So much of what people say to each other isn’t in the words. It’s in the body language, the look in the eyes. What’s behind the words. The actors I think do that amazingly are Ryan Gosling — I think he’s incredible — and Christian Bale does that a lot.

To be totally honest, I think that so much of Rachel comes out in her films. There are different things in each character that are so her. If you watch some actors enough, you hope you can get some barometer of where they’re going to be when you meet them. Some people are totally different. Some are like “Oh, my God, you’re nothing like I thought you were going to be!” She’s lovely and I think you can tell that. She’s a sweetie and she has that in most of her characters.
